My name is Maria, and I offer Integrative Trauma-Informed Counselling, Life Coaching and One-to-One courses. I’m here to support you in the way that feels right for your needs. This space is designed to help you understand the difference between Counselling and Coaching, so you can find the path that feels most supportive for you.

Counselling

Integrative Trauma-Informed Counselling is a gentle, collaborative, and deeply supportive process. It offers you a safe and confidential space to explore your experiences, feelings, and the parts of your story that may still feel difficult or unresolved. My approach is:

 

Integrative Counselling draws from different therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are and is grounded in safety, empathy. It respects your pace and what feels comfortable to you is honoured. 

 

Counselling explores both the past and present, helping you make sense of what you’ve been carrying so you can move forward with greater ease and self-compassion. It may be supportive if you are looking, for example, into:

 

  • Healing from difficult or painful experiences

  • Understanding emotional patterns or responses

  • Feeling more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself

  • Navigating anxiety, overwhelm, or low mood

  • Exploring relationships, boundaries, and self-worth

Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a warm, motivating, and empowering partnership focused on your present and future. Who you are becoming and what you want to create in your life.

Whilst coaching can feel reflective and personally insightful, it is important to note that coaching does not work with past trauma or unresolved emotional pain. Its purpose is not therapeutic in the way that counselling is although it may feel so at times. Instead, Life Coaching supports you in gaining clarity, taking action, and building confidence in your next steps. It may be right for you if you wish to:

 

  • Clarify personal, professional, or life goals

  • Create positive habits and sustainable change

  • Strengthen motivation and self-belief

  • Be a space of accountability if that helps support moving forward with goals and values

  • Move through transitions feeling supported and guided

  • Develop practical strategies for progress and growth

 

Life Coaching centers on who you are now and where you want to go next. The focus is forward, with compassion and accountability.
